ADVENTURE DAY TRIPS ARE A KAYAK MORE TOMORROW’S SPECIALITY!

Brønnøysund, North Norway’s southern most city is a quaint coastal township that once was a major trading center on the sailing route from Bergen to the Lofoten Islands. Perched on an intricate maze of islands speckled with illimitable bays, inlets, sounds, and beaches. This Arctic Archipelago hosts significant historical landmarks dating back to when the Vikings ruled the land.

Brønnøysund, with its proud coastal heritage is positioned at the confluence of the Norwegian Sea and North Atlantic Ocean; is the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Vega Islands & the Helgeland archipelago. As well as being home to the famous landmark, Torghatten a famous pierced mountain; as the legends say, was formed during a troll’s love saga that ended with the sun rising and turning them all into stone!

Brønnøysund, the portal to North Norway is a monumental playground for outdoor adventures. Nestled between the famous Vega Islands and the Seven Sister Mountains, Brønnøysund comes to life on an inspirational Kayak More Tomorrow Day Tour.

Included in all day adventures is our courtesy door to door pick-up/drop-off service, where our driver picks you up for your tour at your chosen accommodation for the short drive to our open-air staging/launching site.

At KMT, we only host small groups on our day adventures and in most cases your group will have a private guide enabling you to customize your tour as you desire. Your KMT guide holds international certification, is professional, friendly and accommodating. You are in the best of hands with KMT.

KMT is a sustainable tour company operating in Norway, which is Europe’s most expensive country. Therefore, our price point reflects Norway’s very high cost of living; you get what you pay for in all respects, international certified guides, small groups (mostly private groups allowing for personalized custom tours) wholesome homemade al fresco lunches and un-compromising equipment.

Our operating season in Brønnøysund is from May 1st through September 15th. However, it is possible to request out of season trips with advanced notice.

Sea Kayaking
A Sea kayakers Paradise, with rock gardens, white sandy beaches, playful seals, kelp forests, surging tides, soaring sea eagles, historical lighthouses, funky currents, cracking campfires, and cozy tents.

The coastal waters of Northern Norway boast some of the best sea kayaking on the planet. Nordland, a sea kayaking eldorado, to the west lie the islands some only visible at low tide others tower more than a thousand meters above the sea.  A long Helgeland’s coast there are thousands of tiny islands tens of kilometers from the shore whereas most are flat, but some rise up in strange mountain formations. Dark violet, ancient craggy peaks rise like pyramids; these large islands lie like miniature continents with their mountains, forests and agricultural land, surrounded by the seaways of this awe-inspiring archipelago. Steeped in myths, sagas, fairy tales, and folklore Nordland's many famous landmarks have contributed to these telling’s, Torghatten, Seven Sisters of Alsten, Hestmannen, and Rødøyløve are just a few that we will discover while paddling Nordland’s spectacular coastline. Gliding amongst picturesque islands, paddling along steep granite walls of jade green fjords, or challenging the rolling waves of the North Atlantic where white sandy beaches speckle outer islands that abound in bird and sea life. It is out here that personal fulfillment and rejuvenation take place.
