An EL Bike Tour.

We set off peddling through the intricacies of Ålesund’s art nouveau architecture, riding past delightful stone buildings, churches, carved with enchanting art nouveau décor. Our EL bikes make the climb up to Aksla lookout seem almost flat. After taking in the spectacular view of Ålesund from the lookout, a highlight, we set off to explore the intricate paths over Mt. Aksla. Dropping down to sea level at Borgund we roll over the bridge to Borgundkaupangen, Ålesund’s very first settlement dating back to the time of the Vikings. Here we stretch our legs while exploring this historical site, then back on our bikes we roll along the expanse of beautiful Bourgund fjord, along ancient cobblestone streets, riding over Asp Island and around the outer edge of Hess Island with the North Atlantic Ocean’s waves crashing up on the shoreline as we pass beaches, pasturelands, and historic installations from world war II. Expect to be out 3 hours.
